Champions is looking for dynamic and passionate Program Assistants who want to make a difference and impact the lives of the children! Perfect for students or someone who requires a flexible schedule, Monday-Friday, no weekends! Work inside a school, for a school, and gain experience working with school aged kids!

We are looking for candidates for our Before and After School Program in the Hermiston School District!

Hiring For: Desert View, Highland Hills, or Rocky Heights Elementary Schools!

Hours: (M, Tu, Th, F) 2:30 - 6:00 PM, (Wednesday) 1:45 - 6:00 PM

-Work with school-aged children, students grades K-5 in a school setting.

-Create a welcoming space for students to have a smooth transition from school to after school.

-Support and implement KinderCare Education Champions curriculum.

-Facilitate play-based learning and build positive and supportive connections with children and their families.

Qualifications:

-Current CPR/First Aid certification or willing to obtain

-Current Central Background Registry enrollment or willing to obtain

-Current Food Handlers License or willing to obtain

What You'll Do:

-Create a safe and nurturing environment for students where children can learn and play in an after school setting.

-Implement Champions curriculum in a way that is consistent while considering the unique needs of every child.

-Partner and communicate with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.

-Cultivate positive relationships with families, schools, teachers, and community partners.

-Follow and maintain coronavirus health and safety protocol.
