About The Opportunity
Huntington currently has openings for enthusiastic and motivated Program Coordinators who will assist in the day to day business and academic activities of our learning centers. As a Program Coordinator, your focus is to work with students on their first day at Huntington and support our team of directors. You will work in a business environment that is professional and upbeat, and you will have supervisors who are supportive and truly passionate about making a difference in the lives of children. Program Coordinator’s responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Manage all aspects of Subject Tutoring and Exam Prep instruction, including supervision of program prescription, initial program, program revision, instruction, interim testing, and student progress.
- Ensure that all Subject Tutoring and Exam Prep instruction at the Center is conducted to the highest standard of performance and professionalism.
- Hire, train, manage, motivate, observe, and evaluate part-time Subject Tutoring and Exam Prep teachers
- Maintain detailed knowledge of Huntington Exam Prep curriculum and operations. Transmit changes to teachers and staff.
- Perform all administrative tasks as they relate to Subject Tutoring and Exam Prep programs.
- Monitor all Subject Tutoring and Exam Prep student instructional programs and Student Permanent Folders. Insure all student paperwork is thorough and up-to-date. Review each student’s instructional program at least once per week.
- Coordinate Interim Testing for each Exam Prep student. Conduct or oversee LCOS input and essay scoring.
- Assist the Center Director in Exam Prep Initial and Interim Conference preparation.
- Monitor Subject Tutoring and Exam Prep inventory.
- Conduct initial inquiries.
- Conduct Student Interim Conferences.
- Assist the Center Director in developing and implementing Exam Prep marketing plans.
- Prepare for and conduct visits to merchants, community groups, and libraries; and maintain appropriate records
