Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) is a non-profit organization that mentors and empowers young adults ages 16-24 years to succeed through education and training in life skills, career pathways, and environmental stewardship.
Job Role: YCC is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Program Enrollment Coordinator (PEC) who can multi-task effectively. We would prefer a bi-lingual candidate. The Program Enrollment Coordinator holds a key role in ensuring the documentation, accuracy and organization of program data. The focus for this position will be maintaining all records related to the YouthBuild/AmeriCorps and Education Award Program grants, including member records, processing stipend allowances, conducting file reviews and ensuring accurate documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains the necessary records, files, reports, database and resource materials to meet each grants’ requirements ensuring effective operation and compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Schedules all member interviews and ensures all necessary documentation and follow-up is completed prior to acceptance in the program.
- Completes the enrollment process of all incoming members including gathering documentation, completing required background checks, creating a working member file and ensuring all required documentation is present and meets the requirements of the grant.
- Conducts file reviews and completes appropriate archiving of closed files.
- Performs a variety of administrative support activities to ensure the financial, personnel and member requirements are met in a timely manner. Prepares and processes daily and weekly member timesheets, requests for stipends, incentives and awards and attendance schedules.
- Serves as liaison between finance and grants compliance to ensure stipend, incentives and awards are properly processed and distributed.
- Coordinates the work of other office support staff assisting with grant related projects.
- Performs special projects and other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Education:

- Close attention to detail and ability to plan ahead and meet strict timelines.

- Self- motivated and ability to adapt quickly.
- Interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Positive, collaborative team player.
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office and ability to learn and utilize other platforms, including a strong proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge and understanding of bookkeeping, accounts payable and accounts receivable preferred.
- Some experience in payroll is preferred.
- Experience working within and following grant parameters is a big plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or Associates Degree or at least 2 years of experience preferred.
A background in business, human services or grant management is preferred.
Compensation: Annual Salary $37,000-$42,000 plus health benefits, paid time off, and 401k matching.
