Overview:
Oasis has an exciting opportunity for a Program Intergration SME. To provide subject matter expert program integration support to the Nuclear Command, Control, Communications Directorate (AFNWC/NC3), Nuclear Networks Division (AFNWC/NCN Front Office Group.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Chief of Staff functions supporting the various programs within the Division including the Global Aircrew Strategic Network Terminal (ASNT) program and the Common Very Low Frequency (VLF) Receiver (CVR) program
  • Support activities that assist the program managers in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines, be able to recommend viable solutions to problems, and pursue alternative courses of action
  • Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment; formulate plans, and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives
  • Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e. DAES, MAR, etc.)
  • Support technical evaluations and fact-finding efforts and subsequently, assist program lead on contract management
  • Provide quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.)
  • Support program management reviews, meeting/reviews and Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule (IMP/IMS) reviews, and integrate inputs for the monthly Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) assessments
  • Develop and staff various briefings and schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to leadership

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and AFI 63-101/20-101
  • Knowledge of the roles and relationships within the DoD and Air Force acquisition stakeholder community and acquisition organizations
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of acquisition programs
  • Extensive experience interacting with PEO Staff, Air Force and/or DoD Headquarter Staff. Experience on Air Force Headquarters Staff, (SAF/AQ and/or PEO Staff) highly desirable
  • Direct experience with acquisition reporting, including but not limited to DAES, MAR, Selective Acquisition Review (SAR), and GAO audits
  • Experience in more than one acquisition discipline, especially program management and financial management is desirable
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  • Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 15 years of experience (10 years DoD), or a BA/BS degree and 20 years of experience, (10 years DoD), or 25 years of directly related experience/certifications (10 years DoD)

SECURITY CLEARANCE/LEVEL REQUIRED:

Top Secret security clearance required
