Cognosante is looking for a motivated, hands-on Program Integrity Project Manager with strong logic and interpersonal skills who is up for the challenge of joining a high-performing. As a Program Integrity Project Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact with the client’s and Cognosante’ s Technical and Business-oriented staff along with all Prime and Sub-Contractors associated with the project. The Project Manager will support the strategy and implementation for client’s business case, objectives, requirements, constraints, technology landscape, and technology standards. They will create, apply, and maintain tools to track program, project, or task performance data, including cost, schedule, and performance data. The Project Manager will have experience in the creation of routine and ad hoc reports and provide oral and written discussion of analytical findings using narrative and graphic forms to clients. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the customers primary point of contact for overall project management, scheduling of meetings, system design, implementation, enhancements, etc
- Implements and design project plans for program integrity services with a focus on overpayments
- Maintain or improve the process to integrate and interface with the data warehouse to query data and pull reports to identify fraud, waste, and abuse
- Responsible for identifying and meeting customer business objectives, leading team members, and working in a collaborative environment to ensure customer success
- Manage the take over and maintain or improve data repository for all data needed to support the program integrity process
- Working with the technical team, maintain or improve core data warehouse capabilities for authorized users to designate the parameters via prompt-based functionality to generate SURS reports
- Coordinate with the client and other contractors as necessary to gain access to and support the data warehouse in providing uploads and automated updates
- Coordinate and complete projects on time and within budget and scope
- Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor, and summarize progress of project
- Identify and ensure completion of action items
- Manage daily subject matter and project oversight activities (Agile or Waterfall methodologies)
- Facilitate and lead regular team meetings to share project status or changes in directives
- Suggest and implement improvements to business processes based on applicable state and federal regulations
- Lead team members and stakeholders to anticipate and manage changes to projects, such as but not limited to, technical requirements, business requirements and schedule
- Provide proactive feedback to direct reports and other team members concerning possible issues or areas of improvement
- Develop and maintain knowledge, awareness, and understanding of company policies and procedures, goals and objectives
- Accountable for all decisions, actions, and directives with respect to job responsibilities
- Knowledge, understanding, compliance, and enforcement of all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations relating to job duties
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Adhere and manage to Project Management best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline. Four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for education
- Previous experience following a standard PM methodology and using various project management tools in developing project plans, delivering tasks, and tracking timelines and resources
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or generally equivalent certification
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Experience seeing project through the full life cycle
- Excellent analytics skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Criminal Justice, related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of combined medical claim investigation, financial impact analysis, business analysis, compliance or fraud and abuse experience
- Experience delivering robust cloud based data analytics projects
- Experience with State Health Care Policy and Agencies is a plus
- Thorough knowledge of medical terminology
- One (1) or more years of experience with Alivia or other program integrity platforms or Medicaid Program Integrity organizations
- Agile/Scrum Certification
- Lean Six Sigma
Compensation
$107,388.00 - $177,191.00
The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may will be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience.
