Entegris is seeking a Program Management Lead for our Battery Material. The ideal Program Manager is a strategically driven individual with a strong technical and business background in relation to the lithium ion battery space. This person will have specific knowledge of advanced technologies to reduce cost and improve capacity, as well as knowledge and relationships in the battery market ecosystem as a whole. This individual should be able to not only help decide the go-to-market strategy (e.g. license IP, secure external funding), but also help execute on it. You will initially play a critical role in exploring opportunities in the energy storage space, determining business value and technical feasibility of our solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Manage all aspects of new product development including Ideation, R&D, Pilot Production, High Volume Manufacturing, Customer Qualification, etc.
- Lead product introduction with marketing, sales, and business development organizations;
- Serve as customer facing new product champion both internally and externally;
- Evaluate our technical solution and make a strategic decision on our go to market strategy then execute on that decision.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience preferred;
- Business development experience with OEMs and their component/system suppliers including sub-contractors, suppliers, and/or vendors globally;
- Experience and network within battery materials including anode and other advanced materials;
- Experience securing investment from VC, Private Equity, Corporate VC, and R&D Partnerships from established companies and startups; minimum of 3 years of experience preferred;
- Technical depth to interact with scientists and engineers, business acumen to develop go to market strategies; Bachelor's degree in a related field required, Master's degree preferred;
- Objective problem solver with ability to execute challenging tasks to completion;
- Strategic thinker with capacity to manage business complexity and to identify and focus on top priorities;
- Experience implementing strategies to influence external stakeholders;
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills;
- Ability to develop broad, cooperative relationships with numerous groups and individuals, even when having no direct authority over them;
- Can interpret, condense, and present findings to audiences with variable skill sets and experience levels;
- Comfortable with ambiguity and has the experience, skills, and characteristics to simultaneously take on several responsibilities to achieve strategic objectives;
- Up to 50% travel to start.
