We are looking for an organized, detail oriented person with strong leadership skills to join our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program. The PRP County Manager will lead their staff to come together as a cohesive team to meet the service needs of the clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Manage the day-to-day Psychiatric Rehabilitation programming and service delivery in a designated county, including supervision of direct care staff and interns.
  • Direct and oversee program operations, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, fiscal guidelines, regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Oversee the day to day provision of services to clients to support goal achievement, including but not limited to scheduling, programming, and service delivery.
  • Schedule, supervise and evaluate assigned staff in accordance with policy, ensuring staff accountability for job performance.
  • Assist staff with managing day to day client issues.
  • Approve service notes daily according to regulatory guidelines and Crossroads protocols; process for billing.
  • Facilitate client intakes, orientation and transitions.
  • Ensure clinical and Health Home collaboration for clients’ care.
  • Perform assigned quality assurance functions related to compliance and health and safety.
  • Assume responsibility for healthy and safe environments.
  • Meet agency productivity measures specific to the position and assigned program.
  • Operate program within assigned budget parameters.

Requirements:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: AA or BA in Behavioral Health, Psychology, Social Work or related field. Minimum 1 year positively referenced experience in the field. Supervisory experience strongly preferred. Must be or agree to become a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner through the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (PRA) within 6 months.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Mental health and/or psychiatric rehabilitation experience sufficient to understand consumer and program needs.
  • Interpersonal skills sufficient to establish productive working relationships.
  • Leadership skills sufficient to direct a team and implement quality programming.
  • Understanding of safety requirements and the ability to manage the environment in an emergency.
  • Read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with others and maintain documentation and perform other record keeping tasks in accordance with agency and accreditation standards.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Computer skills sufficient to enter required data and documentation and to generate reports.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds.
  • Pass the agency’s background check.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record to support insurability by the agency’s insurance carrier.
  • Work related use of a vehicle carrying minimum of 100/300/50 liability insurance.
  • Possession of CPR/First Aid certification.
