About:

The Network Security Product Team is seeking a Program Manager to support the team’s activities associated with industry or Cisco-sponsored events, such as Cisco Live. This role that will require collaboration across the Network Security Product Team and other parts of Cisco. This role may support other product initiatives as needed.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing schedule & deliverables for the Network Security Product team’s successful participation in events, such as Cisco Live
• Maintaining SharePoint site and actively sourcing critical information Network Security Product Team will need related to events
• Coordinating list of attendee requests and tracking budget approval
• Keeping team informed of registration and other administrative requirements
• Collaborating with the global events team on customer meetings at the event (also knowns as “whisper suites”) regarding:
• Meeting topics
• Meeting host and other staff scheduling
• Demo station topics and staffing
• Providing staff with customer background information in preparation for meetings
• Assisting in consolidating post-meeting summaries
• Tracking and facilitating team readiness for product messaging and collateral for the event

• BA/BS degree and 5- 7 years of Program Management, Project Management, or Marketing Coordinator experience. Cisco experience is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment and work well with people from different functions and cultures
• Ability to get things done in a complex ecosystem. Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity through curiosity and research
• Exceptional written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. SharePoint experience desired.
