1. Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Peace Corner Youth Center (PCYC) to ensure compliance with all standards related to client services, facilities management, and other agency policies and procedures.
2. Responsible for and/or makes the needed recommendations for the hiring, discipline and performance evaluation of staff; responsible for coaching, supervising, training, and professional development of staff; responsible for assigning work to staff and ensuring the work is performed to meet program goals.
3. Works closely with staff to develop innovative and engaging programming for youth, and actively participates in the recruitment, onboarding, and facilitation of regular programming and special events.
4. Provides ongoing training, coaching, and clear direction for staff. Serves as a role model for youth and staff, and ensures that program decisions center youth voice and choice.
5. Represents the PCYC throughout the Austin Community by developing positive relationships with youth, parents/guardians, residents, and other community partners. Regularly attends community meetings and networking events to build authentic partnerships with other youth-serving agencies, programs, and individuals.
6. Consistently demonstrates excellent customer service, sound judgement and strong problem-solving abilities to maintain a safe, healthy, and positive work environment for staff, clients, and other stakeholders.
7. Responsible for coordinating PQI data collection process and submitting routine reports as required. Uses data and research to inform program operations and make strategic changes to better meet program outcomes and youth goals.
8. Must maintain a flexible schedule to work evenings and weekends as necessary.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Relevant Education:
Preferred: Master's Degree
Masters degree in Social Work or related field
Minimum: Bachelor's Degree
Bachelors degree in education, psychology, social work or related field; or High School Diploma and equivalent experience in the field of youth development
