Job description
Under the direction of the VP Supply Chain Operations, this position is responsible for oversight and direction to a portfolio of Supply Chain systems and their related projects. This may include planning, managing and monitoring all aspects of most projects throughout the project lifecycle including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change. Position is generally responsible for the most complex, enterprise-wide programs and projects that present significant financial revenue impact or risk potential. Provides customer satisfaction leadership, tracking and reporting. Ensures program and project alignment and adherence with Valleywise Health goals, through collaboration and comprehensive assessment. Leads work efforts or projects concerned with unique problems that have direct and important effect on company programs and business results. Provides guidance to others in the appropriate, effective and efficient use approved methods and standards. Demonstrates mastery of project management processes by training others on project management tools and template usage. Optimizes program results by weighing and assessing expected results of each project or program component. Integrates tracking and progress on multiple projects to provide overall program status.
Salary Range: $48.62 - $71.71 hourly

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must be able to manage large and complex projects involving multiple-departments, platforms, technologies, executive sponsors, or high risk business problems.

Must be able to apply understanding of standards, procedures and methodologies when performing work across multiple environments and guiding/monitoring work of others.

Must be able to evaluate requirements and functional and technical designs of high complexity applications to identify and analyze potential risks early in the development cycle.

Must be able to demonstrate advanced capability to perform process audits and control procedures; and be able to analyze and manage reported issues through to resolution.

Requires the ability to assemble multiple interdepartmental and cross-functional project teams; develop methods to measure customer satisfaction; optimize program results; integrate tracking/progress on multiple projects to provide overall program status; and guide others in the use of project management and software development methodologies.

Must be able to present significant business information to senior management and facilitate their understanding and appropriate use of the information.

Must be able to develop process, standards and templates for company; and develop written procedures and communication that have broad business impact.

Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
Education or equivalency:
-
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems (IS) or related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work in lieu of degree.
Experience:
-
Requires eight (8) years of progressively responsible healthcare, project management related experience that demonstrates an advanced understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Meaningful experience with health care related Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems required with a preference for AllScripts and Meperia experience.

Understanding of Supply Chain best practices relating to the health care industry.
Certification/licensure:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management certification is required.
