Job Overview
Responsible for providing analysis and support during the design, development and implementation processes of sponsored projects. Assist in process redesign on projects and work directly with members of the leadership team to ensure that all defined project requirements are met and all benefits are realized.
This is a part-time grant-funded position and may be extended should funds be available.
Salary: $22/hr for 15-20 hours per week.
Hybrid work permitted in accordance with UC policy.
Essential Functions
- Manage student application review timeline, work with reviewers to ensure they score applicants in a timely manner and are prepared to meet to discuss selections.
- Reach out to CRSP mentors and make sure each has a profile, communicate about mentor training and Mighty Networks, work with mentors to interview potential scholars and support match making with scholars.
- Schedule rooms and times of scholar orientation and workshops, communicate with and share locations with speakers and scholars; ensure workshop spaces are prepared and power point and video recording equipment ready.
- Use Mighty Networks to communicate with scholars about workshops, events, and social activities, CRSP processes and deadlines, etc.; post relevant UCCC lectures, events, and scientific publications on Mighty Networks.
- Support scholars finding housing, coordinate scholar housing and travel reimbursement, campus and city tours, and other social activities throughout the summer, communicate with scholars and mentors via Mighty Networks and emails.
- Communicate with CRSP staff about marketing materials, ensure information on CRSP flyers, websites ((external site, and internal mentor and scholar sites) and CRSP application portal are all up to date and accurate.
- Lead the planning and coordination of the final poster symposium and CRSP Celebration Luncheon at the end of the summer.
- Take photos and videos throughout the summer to share during the final CRSP Celebration Luncheon and on website, newsletters, etc.
- Reconcile receipts in Concur and purchase needed items such as Kings Island tickets, Reds tickets, Zoo tickets, nametags, t-shirts, items for Higher Ground retreat activities, luncheons (Chic-Fil-A, Maggianos etc).
- Other tasks as needed and as time/effort allows.

Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administrator, Project Management, or related field.
- Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
- Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to solve problems in creative ways.
- Basic understanding of information technology and business concepts.

- Autonomous, responsible, proactive part-time professional ideally suited to work from home with occasional visits to campus; able to manage time flexibly.
- Team member and avid communicator (oral and written) with passion for ensuring undergraduate scholars, faculty mentors, and both CRSP and UCCC staff have and understand relevant information and processes needed for their personal and our program's success.
- Knowledge manager, with an eye for optimization and quality improvement while considering different stakeholders' needs.
- Detail oriented with willingness to learn, comfortable with technology; able to support virtual and in-person speakers in presenting and recording workshops, downloading videos, and inserting links into websites and Mighty Networks (a targeted social media-like platform).
- Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to solve problems in creative ways.
- Basic understanding of information technology and business concepts.
