Project Architect (Rhinebeck)

Optimus Architecture has an immediate opening for a Registered Project Architect, based in our Rhinebeck, New York office. We provide full-service architectural and interior design services on projects across the Northeast Region, specializing in healthcare. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, able to manage a small team of staff to accomplish project goals and deadlines. If you have the following qualifications, we’d like to talk with you.

Qualifications:

· Ability to take the lead on the design process from planning through close-out.

· Work collaboratively with clients and design team to achieve mutual project goals.

· Construction administration experience: review and respond to RFI’s, submittals, and shop drawings; attend site meetings; prepare field reports; address field issues.

· Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite, and Sketch-up.

· Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize, with creative problem solving.

· Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills.

· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture required.

· Experience in healthcare projects preferred.

· Same day travel occasionally required for site visits and field work.

Salary Commensurate with Experience. Range: 80K-95K

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
