Job description

DME is seeking a motivated and experienced Engineer to join our expanding engineering practice. The selected candidate will be working on water and wastewater projects, sewer collection, potable water distribution and storage, treatment plants and pumping station projects in the Greater Washington-Maryland Metropolitan area.

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelors or masters in Engineering (Civil, Construction, Mechanical, or Electrical)
  • 5-10 years experience (working with Owner, Contractor or Consultant). Experience with Water and Wastewater Facilities Projects is required.
  • The successful candidate will have experience with all stages of a project life cycle - especially Facilities projects - from initial procurement through design, construction and commissioning.
  • Experience performing field inspections is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Project Scheduling (Schedule development, updates, Primavera P6, MS Project)
  • Solid knowledge of document management tools (Primavera CM 14, Oracle Unifier, BI Publisher, and any other PMIS applications (eBuilder, PMWeb, Procore...)
  • MS Office hands on experience including collaboration using MS teams and SharePoint. Advanced knowledge of MS-Excel and MS-Access a plus.
  • Good writing and communication skills including ability to run meetings and develop reports
