Job Summary:
Support OFC Leadership as an OFC Project Manager. Assist with developing, executing, and managing business processes to support EHRMIO's mission. Project areas include, but are not limited to Quality and Patient Safety, Clinical Informatics, Health Technology Management/Human Factors, and Functional Testing & Evaluation. Develops and reviews internal and external briefing materials and deliverables. Assists with deep dives into individual subject areas, such as Informatics and Patient Safety.
Manages tasking to the team from OFC and EHRMIO leadership. Serve as senior documentation and presentation developer for OFC through rapid development of strategic plans, executive-level presentations, SOPs, and other work products as required. Solves admin problems tactfully, response to actions, manage sensitive & confidential information, prepare and tracks substantive correspondence manages meeting logistics, provides administrative support for calendaring/scheduling/meeting management and logistics, travel, researches, and obtains necessary documentation and data, and reviews material for accuracy and readability. Support and manage action tracking and responses and provide Congressional and OIG response coordination support.
Minimum qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional work experience
- Strong leadership, written/oral communications, analysis, data gathering and organization skills
- Experience managing Information Technology related projects
- Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
- Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress
- Able to identify and mitigate risks
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the VA
- Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
