Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the installation phase of Custom Kitchen and Bath projects. This position works closely with staff Designers, 3rd party contractors, vendors and clients to ensure product is installed according to specifications.

• Coordinates the installation of custom kitchen and bathroom projects with multiple stakeholders - design team, contractors, vendors and clients.
• Works directly with Designers to review user requirements and to define project deliverables.
• Reviews and cross-checks order entry forms and product orders to find and correct discrepancies.
• Prepares schedule for project deliverables and monitors implementation activities.
• Tracks project progress and deliverables.
• Provides project updates to customers and contractors to ensure appropriate communication of priorities and deliverables.
• Coordinates and monitors fabrication of cabinets with vendors. Communicates scheduling changes to customers and contractors as necessary.
• Conducts regular site visits during installation to ensure the project is progressing as planned.
• Picks up materials from vendors and delivers them to site as needed.
• Coordinates with contractors and vendors to order missing or damaged parts needed for order completion.
• Coordinates post-delivery efforts to ensure project closure activities are completed.

Qualifications:

• Project management experience required.
• Home renovation, building, or design related experience preferred.

Education/Experience:

• Project Management experience is required, preferably with experience managing residential construction projects.
• A good working knowledge of computers and the Google Office suite is required. Kitchen design software knowledge is a plus.
• Must have good time management and customer service skills.
• PMP certification is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be willing to make outbound phone calls.
• Must have a reliable vehicle.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
