Position Summary: The Project Manager will lead multiple, concurrent projects from start to finish at one time. Assigned projects may be general or technical in nature. The primary purpose of the Project Manager is to lead, oversee and ensure successful delivery and management of single or multiple projects. The Project Manager must do this within scope, quality, time and cost constraints. These factors may be clearly defined or may require dynamic change management to deliver business value.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage overall project initiation, planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
  • Facilitate day-to-day coordination of projects while adhering to standards, sponsor and product owner expectations and ensuring client requirements are met.
  • Organize and facilitate agile activities and ceremonies, including daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning and product backlog refinement sessions.
  • Responsible for tracking project activity; managing issues and risks, removing impediments: publishing status reports; recommending actions; and conflict resolution.
  • Lead and coach multiple teams throughout project lifecycles for small to medium projects. Includes building strong sponsor, stakeholder, vendor, customer, and project team relationships.
  • Responsible for managing projects to implement or enhance a wide range of business system or technology solutions.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, and track milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with departments and department heads within the organization.
  • Champion and facilitate adoption of agile standards, tools and best practices.
  • Ensure timely, on-budget delivery of successful project implementations.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business management, computer science, information systems (or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent IT or project management experience.
  • 2-3 years of bank operations experience preferred
  • A minimum of 2-3 years demonstrated competency in junior or assistant project management role involving the execution of projects.
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Experience in developing positive relationships with external and internal partners.

Working Environment:

Indoor work – not exposed to outdoor elements or hazards.

Some sedentary work and occasional lifting and/or carrying up to 15 pounds.
