Job description
ARC Electrical and Mechanical Contractors, Corp. in Brooklyn, NY seeks Project Manager/Engineer. Salary of $124,800 per year. 40 hours per week.
Requirements: MS in Civil Engineering. Must have very good knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) coordination and modeling, Scheduling (Primavera P6 and Microsoft Projects), Estimating (Trimble WinEst & Sage Timberline), Project Management (Primavera P6). Position requires being on location at job sites in New York, Kings, Queens and Bronx Counties.
Job Duties: Direct construction and operations staff at the project site; Estimate costs and prepare bid proposals and project reports; Provide technical support on design and construction projects in the form of building information modeling (BIM); Coordinate between all contractors and subcontractors related to ongoing projects; Significant technical knowledge (fire rating, light gauge framing, waterproofing detailing) and full understanding of all disciplines (Structural, MEP, low voltage, medical equipment) is expected. Familiarity with creating and understanding a CPM schedule and project progress billing is necessary. Writing RFI’s and following up on construction issues, and documenting document changes and work progress. Be on site on full time basis for ongoing projects.
