About the role:
Boston Scientific is looking for a Project Manager who’ll have responsibility for the organization and orchestration of projects/initiatives that support omnichannel campaigns as well as facilitation and oversight of the Labeling and Advertising Review (LAR) approval process to maintain compliance and standard operating practices within the Urology business. In this role, you’ll drive project plans and priorities, secure proper resources, provide project direction and counsel, initiate change management strategies, exercise flexibility and agility and employ the proper tools, procedures and protocols to ensure scope and implementation align with commercial objectives and customer expectations.
This role will span across multiple disciplines while collaborating effectively with Communications (including Corporate), Product Marketing, Global Brand, Omnichannel, Global Digital Marketing, Event Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, Clinical and Medical Education, among others.
This role can be based remotely.
Your responsibilities will include:
Focus = Project Management
- Initiate, plan, execute and monitor all activities required for timely completion of projects across multiple workstreams
- Delegate tasks among team members as appropriate to drive execution of project deliverables
- Develop and maintain all project-related documentation – trackers, budget, dashboards, requirements, dependencies, timelines & internal meetings, etc.
- Analyze project needs, prioritize tasks, initiate workload adjustments, identify gaps; assess project risks and implement risk response activities to effectively manage uncertainties
- Motivate and influence adoption and utilization of project management tools and resources
- Manage project team success to ensure cross-functional communication is exercised; provide feedback to functional managers on both team and project performance
- Confirm current BSC Quality System policies/practices and documentation requirements are followed
Focus = Marketing Operations Support
- Facilitate the LAR process for omnichannel campaigns and programs to gain approval and deploy campaign content and tactics on time
- Communicate to all stakeholders by managing expectations, timelines and logistics, including collaboration with vendors for asset finalization and file archival
- Manage review cycle and approval of all content in compliance with standard operating procedures
- Educate and train others on LAR processes and systems; help interpret SOPs specific to the marketing and communications functions
- Support audit-related activities and maintain documentation/controls
- Provide guidance on use of digital asset management system
- Oversee print budgets, warehousing/fulfillment tracking and reporting as well as asset life cycle management per Quality System requirements (manage the asset from origin through obsolescence)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of project management and/or marketing operations work experience
- 5+ years of experience working with commercial/marketing teams in med tech, pharma or other healthcare industries.
- Expert using project management and content management platforms & tools (Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, APRIMO, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Risk Register, Resource & Budget Planning, Visual Management, etc.)
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills
- Capable of working in a fast-paced ever-changing environment under tight deadlines with an emphasis on extreme attention to detail
- Ability to work cross-functionally and at all organizational levels in a professional, solution-oriented manner
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification
- Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams and project management experience managing the full project lifecycle
- Experience working with commercial teams in medical device industry
- Ability to institute best practices of Agile marketing
- Strong organization and execution skills including demonstrated ability to confidently own responsibility for project progress, completion & evaluation
- Demonstrated success leading and working in a virtual environment
- Ability to travel up to 15% as needed (post COVID)
