Primary responsibility is to collaborate with deputy program managers, project managers, and the engineering team to develop schedules and manage mission execution of project plans. The technical solutions we develop provide the capabilities required for the warfighter to execute their responsibilities for manned and unmanned systems. Furthermore, these systems contribute to larger systems of system objectives where second and third tier customers reside. These schedules and project plans will drive the fielding and prioritization of advanced capabilities relative to system modernization efforts and digital transformation activities.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Develop resource load and level project schedules using the performance work statement (PWS), WBS, SOW, and oral directions from deputy program managers, project managers and technical leads.
  • Experience with implementation of industry accepted planning and scheduling best practices and principles
  • Familiar with cost and schedule risk analysis
  • Analyze baseline schedules relative to critical path analysis
  • Develop and monitor multiple project schedules that will lead technical development efforts and provide guidance
  • Present and disseminate schedules to sponsors ensuring they are tracking progress of their respective project
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skillset with an understanding of external dependencies
  • Ability to work in a dynamic high paced environment
  • Use analytics to identify and report on project trends
  • Effectively resource balance schedules for use during project execution
  • Analyze the actual work performed against the proposed plan
  • Evaluate and communicate the impact of changes to the schedule
  • Assess current execution processes and recommend improvements to drive efficiency
  • Be responsible for special projects and other duties as assigned

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • US Citizen
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Undergraduate degree in business, economics, or engineering field
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Project
  • Proven success in developing schedules and project plans to lead mission execution
  • 7+ years of experience in planning and scheduling
  • 7+ years with resource loading scheduling and its interface into traditional critical path methodology

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Master’s degree in business, economics, or engineering field
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • 7+ years of experience collaborating with management and engineering lead to develop plans and schedules
  • 7+ years of experience in generating schedule deliverables and implementation of critical path methodology
  • 7+ years collaborating with sponsors relative to planning and scheduling needs as well as presenting the information to the respective sponsor

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $71,800-$147,200. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
