Propane Sales Representative
Location: Treasure Coast Area
Experience:
- 2+ years of outside sales experience in the propane industry.
- Excellent computer, customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in an independent working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for aggressive prospecting and soliciting of new business as well as retaining core customers currently in a relationship with Como Oil and Propane.
- Design strategic plans to achieve monthly goals.
- Prepare and present sales proposals to prospective customers.
- Ability to read blueprints and familiarity with pipe sizing and appliance sales.
- Responsible for submitting permits with the appropriate governmental entities for approval for proposed jobs.
- Ensure that communication with our customers is key and that all appointments are kept or the customer is notified immediately when there is a change in scheduling.
- Fundamental knowledge of the National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54) and Storage and Handling of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (NFPA 58).
- Be receptive to and competently use new technologies.
- Consistently communicate and demonstrate support of the company’s corporate Core Values, Mission Statement and Vision.
