Technica seeks to recruit for the position of Property Book Specialist on a Government contract with a place of performance at Fort Bliss, TX
Position Description:
- Responsible for management of all Government Furnished Equipment, Government Furnished Property and Contractor Owned Property.
- Ensures all property management procedures and associated official records are maintained under the terms of the contract.
- Performs property accountability, asset visibility, and equipment management functions. Maintains receipt and transaction files.
- Process incoming requisitions, lateral transfers, statement of charges, turn-ins, and receipts of documents for property accountability.
- Requests and receives property from IPBO, upon receipt of equipment, inventories the items; issues out equipment on hand receipts; executes turn-in documents and turn-ins of unserviceable or excess properly.
- Prepare, maintain, and adjust hand receipts for all property book items.
- Report all GFE/GFP loss or damage in accordance with contract requirements, process and procedure.
- Maintain durable / non-expendable and expendable shortage annexes for hand receipt GFP in accordance with DA PAM 710-2-1.
- Schedule appointments with hand receipt holders to update the hand receipt and assist the hand receipt holders in resolving problems.
- Perform causative research for inventory adjustments by reviewing the inventory adjustment reports utilizing all available records.
- Prepare inventory report for submission.
- Monitors the storage, utilizations, transfers, acquisition, and disposal of property. Prepares weekly and monthly reports to the customer and Program Manager.
- Performs audits to ensure property and records are properly maintained.
- Previous 92Y NCO Preferred. Familiarity with GCSS-Army, LIW, and procurement programs.

Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Must have knowledge of Army Property Regulations, Property accountability and responsibility procedures, Property Book H/R procedures, Property Book level knowledge, will be managing Primary hand receipts.
- Possess a minimum of five (5) year of experience working services as it relates to this requirement and the tasks associated with this position.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Associates degree or higher.
- Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to squat or kneel on continuous occasions.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Must be physically capable of lifting to 50 pounds.
