Job description

We are looking for an ambitious team player with strong interest in real estate & property management to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and reconcile company QuickBooks and prepare financial statements.
• Manage and reconcile property management trust accounts, including monthly reconciliation and providing owners monthly statements.
• Complete monthly COM-500 compliance reports and work with Arizona Department of Real Estate to ensure compliance.
• Oversee all accounting matters and work with company CPA firm to complete tax filings.

Skills:

• Excellent organizing abilities
• Great attention to detail
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical mind
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
• Experience with QuickBooks
• COM-500 Reporting experience preferred
• AppFolio Property Management Software Experience Preferred
