Job Title : Property Tax Professional

Duration : 12 Months

Location : 3850 Quadrangle Blvd- Orlando, FL- 32817

• Tax consulting / strategic planning

• Provide level one and two tax analysis, planning, control and reporting

• Identify assessment reduction opportunities and execute action plans for real and personal property

• Document, comply, monitor, evaluate, and update internal state and local tax policies and procedures

• Research, analyze, and prepare multi-state business and affiliate state and local tax refund opportunities

• Research and provide property tax back up documents based on law, and explanation to Siemens’s customers

• Provide property tax estimates for early termination and end of term

• Provide consulting on property tax issues for customer groups

• Provide monthly volumes of returns and tax bills of service fee accruals

• Contact tax jurisdiction offices regarding personal and/or real estate tax issues

• Tax auditing / reverse audits

• Complete the day to day work activities of the audit and consulting team

• Representing and defending the SOC’s (Siemens Operating Company) through assigned duties to support property tax audits

• Identify, communicate and conduct strategic audits/refunds to recover property tax overpayments

• Compile, organize, document and communicate business data for state and local taxing authorities to lead and conduct assigned property tax audits

• Communicate audit results

• File and pursue identities refund opportunities

• Support outsourcing partners in audit defenses

• Tax accounting

• Provide accrual reserve and analysis

• Provide support for month end journal entries as per request

• Prepare reconciliation for property fax file upload (SFS)

• Correct system error in generating the property tax billable file (SFS)

• Prepare all property tax bill reconciliations

• Track and report metrics

• Process property tax check refunds

• Projects

• Supports SOC’s internal audits to document compliance

• Provide customer training on property tax functions

• Support the property tax compliance segment of all SOC migrations

• Approved projects requested by SOC

Salary: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
