Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) seeks a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for our Emergency Crisis Area/ Emergency Department.

*$5,000.00 sign on retention bonus for qualified candidate*

The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse is responsible for providing individualized, goal-directed nursing care. Providing exceptional healthcare and comfort to the people of the community we serve.

*This position is fulltime nights, 6pm-6am with rotating weekends*

Minimum Education:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.

Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing preferred.

Minimum Work Experience:

Prior emergency department or critical care nursing experience preferred;

1-2 years experience in psychiatric nursing or related experience in field.

Required Licenses/ Certifications:

Ability to obtain valid Vermont State Registered Nurse licensure by date of employment required.

Health Care Provider BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required within 90 days of hire.
