Public Area Attendant, Full Time
Rate of Pay: $18.93/hour

Opportunity Awaits on the beautiful Island of Hawaii... Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel currently has an opening for a talented Full Time Public Area Housekeeper to share the aloha spirit and strive to create a memorable guest experience.

Brief Summary of Job: Responsible for the cleaning of Hotel public and common areas.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
____ Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing
personalized service to hotel guests.
____ Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
____ Clean Hotel public areas such as restrooms, offices, corridors and lobby.
____ Sweep, dust, mop and remove debris from floors. Empty rubbish.
____ May do carpet cleaning.
____ Deliver items requested by guests.
____ Perform general or specialized cleaning and other miscellaneous unskilled tasks.
____ Move heavy furniture or equipment when needed..
____ Report any missing/found articles, or damage to the Housekeeping supervisors.
____ Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best
overall performance of the department and hotel.
____ Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Requirements Knowledge/Education/Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar or related position preferred.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements: Basic cleaning skills. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Ability to communicate in English with guests, management and fellow team members to their understanding desirable. Dependable.
