Exciting opportunity to be a part of a high performing team in Public Finance!

The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to :

Be responsible for maintaining and managing public finance accounts and relationships for new and existing clients.
Prospect, develop, generate and follow-up on new client leads.
Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by generating, managing and servicing a portfolio of clients.
Call on existing relationships to review needs and make recommendations as needed.
Be responsible for evaluating and structuring financing alternatives for projects.
Recommend sale methodologies. Solicit and evaluate underwriter bids and other bids related to the purchase of municipal bond securities.
Manage and schedule implementation of financing program for clients.
Perform related client consulting work.
Respond to request for proposals for financial advisory services.
Respond to request for bids to purchase municipal securities and perform the needed legal and credit evaluation.
Potentially lead and train analytical staff.
Ensure revenue goals consistently met.
Travel to customer location for meetings and visits, as required.
Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's and 4+ years’ experience in public finance, banking, accounting, business or financial services related to governmental entities.
Experience with municipal debt issues, identifying, structuring, and closing transactions.
A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
Extensive knowledge of public finance, accounting, an understanding of local government operations and issues and structuring of taxable and tax-exempt debt issues.
Ability to contribute to the successful completion of a transaction.
Requires strong analytical, quantitative, verbal, written, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
Ability to clearly and succinctly express complex financial concepts both verbally and in writing.
Ability to manage multiple project-oriented tasks and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while being team-oriented.
Strong problem resolution and organizational skills.
Strong strategic thinking, communication, time management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and familiarity with MUNEX or DBC municipal bond software.
Municipal securities licenses (Series 50 and 52) are a plus.
