Qualified Professional, Tenancy Support

Easterseals UCP, a non-profit service provider in North Carolina & Virginia, seeks a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Qualified Professional (QP) to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary, Transition Management Services team designed to provide tenancy and peer support services focused on growing and maintaining the independent living skills of the people we serve in Johnson and Cumberland counties.

What You’ll Do

Easterseals’ TMS team partners with the community to offer services to adults participating in the Transition to Community Living program (TCLI); services are delivered primarily in their living environments. As a Qualified Professional, you will...

• Provide tenancy support services: Participate in the provision of structured rehabilitative interventions to individuals served in Johnson and Cumberland counties, such as:
  • Assessment and development of PCP’s
  • Individual Housing and Tenancy Sustaining Services

• Provide peer support services: Coordinate communication with guardians, care coordination, housing stakeholders, landlords, Behavioral Health services, and other agencies serving the individuals being supported.
  • Activities of daily living
  • Money management and entitlements
  • Personal health, wellness, and recovery
  • Promote community integration

• Develop your skills: Training at ESUCP is comprehensive, interactive, and involves ongoing trainings to learn and practice skills and interventions that we provide to our team members.
  • We also offer PAID CLINICAL SUPERVISION TOWARD FULL LICENSURE, or
  • Up to $65/week toward outside supervision

• Participate: In the Crisis response rotation with your team for 1 week at a time.

What We’re Looking For

To join our team, you must be willing to provide services in people’s homes, rotate first responder coverage, have a passion for helping others, and able to link clients to community resources. We also require the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree.
• Able to be credentialed as a Mental Health Qualified Professional or Associate Professional.
• Minimum of 2 year of experience with the adult mental health population-internships included.
  • New grads are welcome to apply!
• A valid driver's license, current auto insurance and a good driving record.
• Bilingual (any language) is a plus!
