Job description
Quality Inspection Professional II
Conduct inspections of machined products using precision measuring instruments and following standard procedures, utilizing specified equipment. Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections to evaluate quality and appearance, assess dimensional requirements, and determine acceptance or rejection of items. Maintain appropriate records and notify supervisors of failures while adhering to established company policies and regulations to maintain quality standards. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 3-5 years of experience, strong mathematical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Additionally, the candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience ranging from 3 to 5 years
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work autonomously and make decisions
- Ability to read complex drawings and specifications, utilize precision instruments, and perform mathematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with AS9100
- Experience with PPAP process
- Quality inspection experience
- Programming machine vision systems
- Quality control data analysis
- Blueprint reading
- GD&T
