FTS has partnered with a family-owned, manufacturing organization in their search for a skilled Quality Assurance Manager. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with benefits. Fully onsite role on the West side of Rochester NY.

QA Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage a quality department of ~10 individuals.
• Oversee the inspection of First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspection.
• Manage a current QMS processes and champion continuous improvement goals.
• Understanding customer performance/quality requirements, measuring our performance against these requirements, taking action when needed and communicating to appropriate parties.
• Establish quality control plans and develop control strategies to ensure product achieves quality targets and apply error proofing techniques.
• Manage new product launches.

QA Manager Requirements:

• Demonstrated leadership experience within a Quality or Engineering dept.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 machining practices.
• Ability to program CMM with PC-DMIS or Zeiss Calypso software.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
