AtWork is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for a medical production laboratory. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance throughout the production phases and maintain efficiency by reducing operational errors. The Quality Control Specialist will set a standard of premier uniformity through monitoring, documenting, and adjusting the production phase(s) in conjunction with company policy. Location: Buford, GA.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1:30pm – 10:00pm EST.

Pay rate: $18.50 / Hourly

  • Creates and delivers detailed reports to phlebotomy coordinators, sales reps and admin to track progress in error reduction efforts
  • Works directly with IT department as needed to develop and improve data capture and reports
  • Meets regularly with Phlebotomy Coordinators to track progress and plan error reduction actions
  • Communicates directly with Phlebotomists and Phlebotomy Company management to report errors and offer additional training
  • Reports patterns of error by individual phlebotomists, providers collecting in house and phlebotomy companies to Phlebotomy Coordinators for follow up
  • Works directly with Lab and QA departments to investigate errors
