General Job Description
Dogwood Industries LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Sedro-Woolley, WA. A successful candidate will be experienced in document review and control and will demonstrate understanding of quality control procedures and key elements of the inspection process and documentation thereof.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Thoroughly review documents and drawings for completeness, redline corrections
- Issue, maintain and distribute accurate drawings
- Generate Quality Assurance (QA) documents
- Maintain quality control records, documents, and logs
- Execute and document specific test plans
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or vocational degree
- 2+ years of experience in quality assurance
- Experience with CAD software
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and shop drawings
- Experience in steel fabrication or general construction
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage change along with competing priorities
- Fluency in English with excellent written and oral skills
- Proficiency in standard Office computer applications
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
This position requires moderate physical activity in a manufacturing and office environment. To perform the essential functions of this job, the employee is frequently seated at a computer desk, is utilizing a cell phone, and participating in meetings with colleagues. Walking extended distances from location to location in the factory complex and meeting with people in noisy or congested areas will be a common occurrence. The employee must be able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance for extended periods of time. Be able to lift, pull and push material and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to lift 40 pounds of weight throughout assigned workday if required. The employee will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors.
Hourly Rate
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour, Depending on experience and qualifications.

This position is located at the Dogwood Factory at 500 Metcalf Building M, Sedro Wooley, WA 98284. Remote/hybrid options are not available, at this time.
