Shift:

Fri, Sat and Sun 6:00am to 6:00 pm - 36 total hours (Three 12 hour days).

Or

Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon 7:00am to 5:00pm - 40 total hours (Four 10 hour days).

Overall Responsibilities:

• Perform Quality Assurance activities including QMS maintenance, inspections and support continuous improvements for fabrication and weld.

Key Job Duties (not exhaustive):

• Perform fabrication and weld inspections (in-process and final) for the weekend shift.
• Maintain and analyze the NCR & FNCR systems, collect and analyze the “QA Inspection Report” forms (internal SPS) and log into the inspection database.
• Collect and enter data into various databases and periodically analyze the data (COQ, Inspection, Etc.) and report out the results to management.
• Perform problem solving activities for rework and floor modifications. Support waste reduction efforts (scrap, rework and other inefficiencies).
• Support safety and ergonomics, health, environmental and housekeeping activities.
• Ensure production personnel are aware of all QMS processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Possess a strong attention to detail.
• Minimum of 1 year QA experience.
• Computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of welding and weld symbols.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Solid problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate company vehicles – must have a good DMV driving record.
• Ability to work a weekend shift.

Desired Qualities and Attributes:

• Experience with metal fabrication and welding.
• Experience ISO-9001:2015.
• Must be self-motivated and flexible to work well under tight schedules.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
