Quality Control and Training Leader Position

We are a manufacturing company known for its high-quality products of industrial electric vehicle systems and material handling equipment, seeking experienced Quality Control and Training Leader.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years Quality Control experience
  • Experience with quality assurance tools such as FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), gauges, calipers, micrometers and computers
  • Blueprint reading capabilities, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), incoming inspection sampling plans and run charts
  • Minimum 3 years manufacturing inspection experience
  • Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications
  • Documentation and reporting skills
  • Planning and scheduling QC activities to accomplish strategic goals
  • Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Job Description/Duties:

  • Conducts in-process and final inspections of in the manufacturing of industrial electric vehicle systems and stationary machinery to ensure that all specifications are met
  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests and communicating required adjustments to production supervisor
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurements tests
  • Returning products for re-work and confirming rework is completed accurately
  • Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics as required
  • Prepare and submit reports to supervisor &/or upper management as required
  • Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods
  • Performing a finished goods audit (FG)
  • Use a variety of measuring instruments when required
  • Work closely with manufacturing and engineering departments
  • Direct and train employees in the fundamentals of quality inspection using appropriate process improvement tools and methodologies
  • Recommend areas for investigation and modes of corrective action and initiate action

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
