In this part:

You will be responsible for making sure the product meets industry standards by performing visual inspections on electronic assemblies, providing feedback to the operators, and documenting any discrepancies. **1st and 2nd Shift positions exist**.

Your duties include:

  • Holding IPC credentials as needed
  • Maintaining product quality through spot-checks, sampling and 1st-piece verification and 100% inspection
  • Working with the microscope for extended periods
  • Checking that in-process material complies with customer and industry standards
  • Recording and collecting documentation
  • Notifying Quality and Manufacturing Engineering of systematic problems
  • Supporting first-piece verification with necessary records
  • Documenting issues with the process and specifications
  • Conducting regular quality line-audits to guarantee documentation, consumables, and tooling are up to standard
  • Promoting ESD, PPE, and FOD prevention
  • Operating related inspection equipment such as AOI and XRAY

Qualifications:

This position requires that you meet U.S. export regulations. You must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to acquire the necessary authorizations from the U.S. government.

In this position:

Your roles include:

  • Gaining and upholding IPC credentials
  • Confirming quality at a production level by incorporating spot-inspection, sampling, and 1st-piece verification and 100% inspection as necessary
  • Employing the microscope for extended periods
  • Confirming that in-process material is compliant with Customer and Industry Standards
  • Recording and collecting documentation accurately
  • Reporting systemic issues to Quality and Manufacturing Engineering
  • Assisting first-piece verification runs with accompanying documents
  • Recording non-conformities to the process and specifications
  • Conducting regular quality line-audits to guarantee all documentation, consumables, and tooling are up to standard
  • Promoting proper ESD, PPE, and FOD prevention
  • Operating appropriate inspection equipment such as AOI and XRAY
