Job description
This position is a full-time/seasonal job (May - November). The Lab Technician will test polymer-modified asphalt and asphalt emulsion for quality control.
Typical tests include:
- Dynamic Shear Rheometer
- MSCR Testing
- Bending Beam Rheometer
- Penetration
- Viscosity
- Residue
The successful candidate will
- Work independently once trained in the test procedures
- Troubleshoot unexpected test results
- Keep accurate and detailed records
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Be able to lift and carry 50 LBS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
