Job Summary:

Support managing and directing the Rural Retreat site towards their primary quality objectives, based on product and profitability goals.

Your Mission:

· Define, implement and sustain quality strategies to guide the organization in a culture of quality.

· Assure site Quality Management System is executed, maintained and improved as well as adhering to regulatory/ government agency requirements.

· Insure the reliability of test equipment and execution of product and supplier & test methods is done as required by customer and industry specifications.

· Undertake and implement cross functional PFMEA & Control Plan programs throughout the value stream teams.

· Provide leadership and vision in the use of data and structured problem solving (DMAIC & Lean) tools and methods to define defect trends & implement fact based corrective actions.

· Drive and translate voice of the customer requirements (CTQ’s) to process control and optimize performance.

· Define and set standards/expectations for organization training in the use of best practices for assuring product quality and resolving performance issues.

· Use customer complaints & other inputs (i.e. conference calls, visits, etc.) to define performance gaps.

  • Manage the complaint handling process including communication with customers.

Your Profile:

· Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Engineering

· 5 years minimum quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.

· Lean/Six Sigma Certification highly desirable.

· Lean/Continuous Improvement experience (5 years preferable) working in lean sigma environments.

· High attention to detail in regards to data integrity, data collection and data analysis.

· Ability to network and build relationships inside and outside of the site

· Applications experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and its integration into daily operations to drive continuous improvement.

· Capable of defining and implementing plans for employee development as it relates to supporting quality improvement.
