This position is responsible for maintaining and improving manufacturing quality, supporting manufaucturing in Failure Analysis, First Piece Inspections, Care Check Inspections, Rework processes and Procedures. Duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity. Assignments are broad and usually require originality and ingenuity. May serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Serve as the primary lead for Manufacturing Quality Group (CARE, MOE Techs, FATS, Teardown Techs)
  • Serve as the primary lead for development, deployment and execution of the Strategy
  • Support daily production needs with proper failure analysis and quality inspections
  • Support Manufacturing to ensure accurate reporting for IDC, Reject Tracking
  • Participate in the development of the following: Rework Instructions, Teardown Instructions, Concession process for non-standard rework, proper containment for audits findings
  • Participate in creation and CIP for optimized scope of the MQG roles and responsibilities
  • Delegate labor to support containment activities when warranted, support with blocking material as required.
  • Review and analysis of First Pass Yield , IDC, Care Rejects, Teardown findings.
  • Collaborate with support groups to ensure cross communication for all failure modes and processes (LL).
  • Support PQC and internal corrective action teams
  • Support timely processing of blocked material.
  • Preparation of operational procedures and instructions per IATF 16949.
  • Support continuous improvement activities for safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Support enforcement of company policies and employee handbook
  • Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety policies
