About the position:

Under limited supervision, inspects, tests and audits non-complex and complex components, subassemblies, assemblies and/or final products at Raybuilt Center Of Excellence. Compares them against Raymond and/or industry standards. Responsible for identifying or assisting to determine root cause of problems and developing or requesting appropriate corrective actions and verification of effectiveness. Documents results appropriately on computer database. Will be member of Internal audit team for ISO 9001/14001 audits.

Job Requirements

  • Receives and processes repetitive, non-complex, subassemblies as well as complex low volume/high mix subassemblies and/or final product. Inspects, tests and/or audits subassemblies/final product or processes against established prints, routings, tests, and/or procedures. Utilizes a variety of inspection tools and measuring devices including micrometers, calipers, gauges, tape measures and multimeters
  • Notifies appropriate production employees to correct errors. Identifies or assists to determine root cause of more complex problems through detailed analysis and develops or requests appropriate corrective actions. Documents analysis in written and oral reports
  • Literate in electronic tools / computer software (i.e. Word, Excel, and Access), and the divisional email system. Experience in SAP, Internal ISO 9001 auditing, Warehouse Management Systems and CRM a plus
  • Aids Implementation of action plans to reduce/eliminate quality related errors. Performs product or process audits to determine effectiveness of action plans.
  • Follows specific documentation procedures and logs results appropriately onto computer database. Will perform inventory control transactions in WMS, manipulates database to conduct detailed analyses.
  • Participates in/leads cross functional quality teams
  • Provides work assistance/guidance to Inspector I's as required. Must be able to operate lift trucks or overhead cranes to move heavy materials.
  • Maintains work area, equipment and supplies in neat, organized manner.
  • Inspects calibrated measuring and test equipment to ensure its functionality, and that it is within the guidelines of the calibration system

About you:

  • Three or more years of manufacturing experience is required, including at least one year as an Inspector

It would be great if you had:

  • A High School Diploma or GED

Salary - Salaries starting at $18.72 per hour

Requirements:
