Quality Assurance ManagerAutomation Personnel Services is looking for an Quality Assurance Manager to work for a company based in Uniontown, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for managing and coordinating quality the control program to ensure continuous production consistent with establishment standards.
Pay Rate
$70,000 to $80,000 annually

Quality Assurance Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement and manage food safety programs, audit and control Food Defense programs
- Plan and conduct training activities related to quality and food safety
- Assist in installation, inspection, and testing procedures for finished products
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assist employees in resolving work problems
- Coordinate and monitor activities of plant sanitation
- Manage and update the HACCP program and work closely with USDA to ensure all regulations are properly followed
- Investigate customer complaints regarding quality
- Working knowledge of food processing or food industry experience in Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs
- Working knowledge of HACCP and SSOP plans and be able to review for accuracy and compliance
- Self-motivated and able to work well with other employees, both hourly and salary, USDA inspectors, and third-party auditors
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to follow tasks to successful completion, delegate responsibility, and handle multiple tasks at one time
- Must be dependable, prompt, and willing to work weekends or as needed to meet daily and weekly deadlines
