We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our team at our Summerville, SC. location. The Quality Manager is responsible for facilitating quality activities to support the manufacturing process, compliance to IATF and ISO standards and ensure that all product and services provided to our customers meet or exceed their required specifications.

Job Responsibilities:
- Act as Management Representative for the IATF16949 and ISO-14001 systems and champion the scheduled audits.
- Develop the appropriate Quality documentation to effectively monitor the manufacturing process as required by our Customers and IATF16949 standards.
- Monitor the process capability of all key characteristics to ensure that the processes are capable and report to management as required.
- Coordinate the performance of Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility Studies on gaging provided to Manufacturing utilizing Quality staff members and Manufacturing staff to complete.
- Ensure that the gage calibration systems are up to date and the proper documentation is being properly maintained.
- Develop Quality procedures and work instructions that conform to all Customer and internal Quality standards with particular focus on IATF16949 standards.
- Assist when required in working with Suppliers to ensure that they continually supply Skyway with Quality products, and all required ongoing documentation.
- Coordinate the PPAP sample activity as it applies to new and existing products and insure its timeliness.
- Interact with Skyway’s Customer base as it applies to Quality related issues.
- Initiate all Customer required corrective actions and follow up to ensure that they are effective and supply all required documentation. Maintain an open and closed matrix for management review.
- Develop and train all Quality personnel in their job functions and provide technical assistance where applicable.
- Test and evaluate Quality personnel on their ability to perform their duties.
- Monitor SPC data and report findings to management on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Review the manufacturing processes to ensure that they can meet the Customer Quality requirements.
- Interact and provide technical support to the Manufacturing, Engineering and any other departments. When applicable, provide Customer technical support to assure Customer acceptance.
- Schedule the required Internal Audits and act as a member of the internal audit team for the IATF, ISO, and Customer specific Quality requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule Layer Process Audits for both facilities and across all departments and report to Management as required.
- Follow general safety rules, procedures and regulations.
