The Quality Technician supports incoming, in-process, and outgoing part inspections.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the Company's Calibrated Equipment Program.
  • Verify chain of custody with supplier documentation.
  • Retrieves equipment from production and test areas, liaises with manufacturing and quality engineers and calibration suppliers, packaging and unpackaging equipment, updates databases, creates incoming and impact reports, and other duties as required.
  • Complete inspection reports for mechanical sub-processing and avionics components.
  • Verify In-process quality and step verification approval of sub-assemblies following our manufacturing standards.
  • Work with quality and design engineers on non-conforming material documentation and continual improvement processes.
  • Performs visual and dimensional inspections of incoming parts and materials, in-process, and final quality control inspections and reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with inspection equipment, including CMM.
  • Experience working in clean rooms and ESD environments.
  • Experience with inspecting most of the following is preferred:
  • Incoming parts and material
  • Soldering quality according to J-STD-001
  • Cable and harnessing, according to NASA 8739.4
  • Polymerics, according to NASA 8739.1

Compensation:
Pay range: $29-37 per hour. Pay is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
