Job Overview
Our receptionist is a vital member of our workplace. As the first point of contact, both in-person and on the telephone, being both well-presented and polite are pivotal traits. The receptionist needs to be able to think on their feet and can switch gears at a moment’s notice.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Welcome office guests and direct them to the person or office they are visiting.
- Answer phones and forward calls to the appropriate recipient.
- Process daily fuel delivery paperwork and monthly or quarterly reports.
- Take payments from customers both in-person and over the phone.
- Send mail and other correspondence.
- Maintain office supply inventory.
- Perform various clerical tasks including filing and faxing.
- Keep office records up to date.
- Make coffee and arrange meals for office meetings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- 1+ years reception experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and good typing ability required.
- Excellent Interpersonal, Organizational and Problem-Solving skills.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to Multi-Task.
- Dependability.
- Professionalism.
