Geosyntec, an international geo-environmental consulting firm headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida is seeking a Receptionist / Office Assistant for our office in Clearwater, Florida. This position provides general support to the office and staff. This position is responsible for making an excellent "first impression" in greeting clients and visitors. Primary responsibilities include answering phones, processing incoming/outgoing mail, inventory/ordering supplies, scheduling appointments, coordinating office events, formatting of documents, and assisting with administrative tasks. This position requires strong attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform receptionist tasks including screening calls, receiving clients and visitors, and scheduling use of conference rooms for meetings;
- Review outgoing correspondence for grammar and consistent format;
- Photocopy, and assemble technical and non-technical documentation;
- Perform typing duties to include envelopes, forms, labels, letters and memoranda;
- Set up and manage filing systems;
- Deliver and collect daily mail; organize and distribute incoming mail; prepare and distribute Federal Express packages and other courier and freight services;
- Assist with ordering, purchasing and the inventory of office supplies, printer, and photocopier supplies;
- Maintain reproduction equipment and supplies, make appropriate service calls, and ensure all branch copiers are supplied daily;
- Assist with local business errands as needed; and
- Perform other clerical functions, as required.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED), and at least 1 year of administrative/office experience to include effective working knowledge and skills with office procedures, terminology, and office equipment and computers in a Windows. (required)
- Demonstrated organizational and multi-tasking experience. (required)
- Availability to work overtime on short notice as required by project demands. (required)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
