Overview:

Sunriver Resort's Caldera Springs is hiring! The Caldera Springs Pool & Recreation Lead is responsible for the day to day operation of the Quarry Pool and Fitness Center and Recreation activities in Caldera Springs as directed by the Owners’ Association Manager. This includes looking after the comfort and safety of the owners and guests at the Quarry Pool and Fitness Center as well as at our Recreation Station at the Lake House handling boats, bikes and golf amenities; ensuring the cleanliness and general maintenance of the all Recreation and Quarry Pool and Fitness Center equipment. Oversee performance of Pool and Recreation Team and their assigned duties.

They shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. Responsibilities:
Specific to the Quarry Pool and Fitness Center
  • Assist in the evaluation, and oversees the performance of all Pool and Recreation associates.
  • Assist Recreation Supervisor in training all Pool and Recreation associates for the summer season.
  • Responsible for job assignments, employee duties and performance of all Pool and Recreation associates and any other assigned associates.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the building and pool area for cleanliness and safety; along with action taken to correct deficiencies or recommendations for corrective action; follow through with the immediate resolution of any safety hazard and ensure proper documentation of any incident or accident.
  • Maintains laundry inventory levels for the Quarry Pool and Fitness Center.
Lake House Recreation and Concierge Functions
  • Maintain active knowledge of physical condition, usage and procedures of all recreation equipment including, but not limited to: bikes, canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, golf club rentals and walking golf carts.
  • Assist guests with rental of all equipment in a safe and knowledgeable manor including, but no limited to: bikes, canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, golf club rentals, and walking golf carts.
  • Assist with Concierge duties at the Lake House including creation and processing Golf tee times, answering phones, assisting guests with questions about amenities and activity requests.
  • Handling retail transactions including cash and credit card processing through the concierge desk.
  • Checking out recreation equipment through the concierge desk by maintaining proper paperwork and checking ID’s for amenity availability.

  • Provides clear direction of goals and objectives to team
  • Recommends and assists with discipline and/or termination when appropriate of team members
  • Takes a proactive approach to coaching and counseling
  • Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of Caldera Springs including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guest
  • Resolves owner and guest issues promptly and with great care and effectiveness
  • Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of all Caldera Springs amenities as well as owner events
  • Assists in the organization and implementation of recreational activities/events for Caldera Springs Home Owners

Qualifications:
  • Experienced in working with varied ages.
  • Cashier experience helpful.
  • Preferred current first aid and CPR certificate.

  • Organization and detail oriented skills helpful.
  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company driving standards

  • Must have excellent leadership skills
  • Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
  • Must be able to personally lift up to 40 lbs. on a frequent basis;
