Job description
The person selected will work under the direction of the Dr. TK Gregg Community Center Director. They will assist recreation staff with program preparation as well as coordination of activities and recreation programs at parks and recreation facilities. May be put in charge of the facility in the evenings and on weekends.
An Associate's degree in leisure services or related field. Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 years of related work experience.
Knowledge of organizing people and activities, the ability to assume responsibility in doing work and meeting deadlines. Work cooperatively, professionally and courteously with the public and the recreation staff. Maintain an enthusiastic positive attitude.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays and irregular hours.
