The Community Services Department is seeking to fill multiple positions. Both Part-time Hourly and Part-time Regular schedules are available.

job Summary: To plan and conduct recreation activities; to set-up and take-down rooms and equipment as needed for recreation activities; to perform clerical tasks in support of recreation programs; and to provide technical support to an assigned supervisor.

Weekly schedule assignments may vary based on operational need.

Selection Process: Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications and whose interests and experience appear to meet the desired qualifications of the position will be invited to participate in the next steps of the recruitment process which may include:

Minimum Qualifications:Experience and Training Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:

Experience:

One year of responsible experience working in recreation programs.

Training:

Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by college course work in recreation or a related field.

License and Certificate:

Possession of, or ability to obtain, valid CPR and First Aid certificates within 60 days of hire.
