Position Title: Recruiter & Administrative Assistant

Position Overview
This individual contributor role is based in our Salt Lake City, Utah office location. This position will have duties split between recruiting and administrative support to support transportation operations in Utah and Wyoming. These duties are expected to be split equally, however they may change based on the needs of the business.
The recruiting duties will be focused on attracting drivers and mechanics to our family. Duties include being responsible for all facets of the recruiting lifecycle, planning recruiting events, sourcing candidates, and working with candidates throughout the pre-employment processes until a job offer is made to the candidate. This position will work closely with the Regional Transportation Manager, maintenance team lead, and field level supervisors to ensure candidates meet our qualifications.
The administrative assistant duties will be focused on providing support to the operations team in both Utah and Wyoming. Duties include being responsible for visitors to the office, receiving mail and packages to the office, and supporting the paperwork processing of drivers.
The successful candidate will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively communicate, and collaborate across multiple departments within the company.

Job Responsibilities
- Proactively develop a pipeline of CDL driver candidates
- Completes follow ups with candidates and phone screens of candidates in a timely manner
- Maintain effective working relationships with all departments within the organization
- Utilize company approved candidate application tracking system
- Participate in recruiting and company related projects as directed
- Occasionally travel to recruiting events, to include overnight stays (where applicable)
- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours to ensure availability to candidates
- Manage office vendors and support services including janitorial, office supply, storage
- Support driver paperwork processes and work with ticketing team as required
- Support and respond to inquiries from payroll team as required
- Plan and coordinate details of safety meetings and other large group gatherings
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources or related field
- 1-3 years’ experience in recruiting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 environment (Word, Excel, Teams, etc)
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
Additional Qualifications
- Familiarity with DOT regulations
- Basic knowledge of transportation industry
- Basic knowledge of the oil & gas industry
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, etc

Position level and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position is salaried exempt status, which means it is not eligible for overtime pay.
