I.C.E. Contractors, Inc. is a growing and established Electrical and Low-Voltage Contractor and has an immediate need for a Recruiter to serve in our Decatur, AL office. This Recruiter will be responsible for, but is not limited to, the overall recruitment process, onboarding, and will collaborate with project management staff to determine hiring needs within the company. This person will also be responsible for attending career fairs and recruiting events to represent I.C.E. Contractors, Inc. We are looking for a self-motivated team player, who has a drive for success and growth. In addition to someone who can represent I.C.E. Contractors, Inc. in a positive and professional manner.

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with Human Resources and Project Management Team to determine hiring needs.
• Utilize social media, online job boards, job postings, internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS), networking, and any other resources to find potential candidates.
• Coordinates and develops the overall recruitment process and implements different recruiting methods to identify and attract candidates to I.C.E. Contractors, Inc.
• Evaluate candidate’s qualifications and experience by interviewing, phone screening, and testing candidates, in addition to, checking references if needed.
• Ensure recruitment and selection processes are in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Extend offers of employment to chosen candidates and coordinate with the Project Management Team to determine start dates and items needed for employees.
• Assist with the onboarding of new hires and complete pre-employment processes, and paperwork for hiring, background checks, drug screens, etc.
• Attend career fairs, recruiting events and develop a community presence by networking with local leaders and associations.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or any related field preferred.
• 2+ years of recruiting experience in a staffing agency or corporate recruiting setting.
• Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and knowledge of Boolean Search (a plus).
• Construction/Skilled Trades industry experience highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean background check.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times while representing I.C.E. Contractors, Inc.
• Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, as well as being attentive to detail.
