Summary/ Objective:
This position is a multi-functional role designed to support multiple aspects of corporate duties, to include executive administration, recruiting support, proposal coordination, special projects, and others as assigned. The work environment is as a member of a multi-disciplinary team that includes executive level personnel, human resources, business development personnel, graphic artists, and other technical personnel. Interaction and collaboration often include external personnel, representatives from other companies that work with BTAS.
Although every effort is made to do assigned work during normal work hours, individual projects or proposals may require working extended hours, including weekends, on relatively short notice in order to meet schedule deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities:
Recruiting support:
- Sourcing, assessing and recommending for hire the best candidates to fill vacant positions from internal and external sources while developing and maintaining a pipeline of quality candidates for the growing business
- Posting positions, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and preparing written correspondence
- Maintaining employment resumes, application forms, and applicant tracking logs for Affirmative Action Plan
- Calling qualified applicants for employment from the HR database
- Conducting interviews, preliminary phone screen assessments and reference checks
- Developing and extending job offers to internal and external candidates
Provide administrative support such as:
- In-processing selected qualified candidates for positions
- Providing information on salary and assisting employees with benefit enrollment
- Assisting in the compilation of statistical data for EEO, attendance, workers compensation, wage administration, and job descriptions as needed
- Providing technical support using tools such as MS Office applications, including Word and Excel, internet and social media
- Supporting HR team with additional duties and projects as needed
Project Coordinator duties:
- Perform administrative duties such as meeting and schedule coordination, taking minutes, phone answering, printing, minor event planning, and coordination with suppliers.
- Work with recruiters to understand staffing needs, identifying prospective candidates, communicating and vetting candidates, and coordinating hiring.
- Support proposal planning, preparation, review coordination, graphics development coordination, proofreading, finalization, and post-submittal activities in accordance with BTAS process guidelines, tools, templates, and best practices.
- Directly contribute to ongoing process compliance, including document control on SharePoint and ensuring process outputs/results/evidence are developed and shared.
- Identify and help implement ways to continually improve, including maintaining updated tools and templates that reflect BTAS best practices.
- Work with corporate stakeholders to lead, support, or participate in special projects identified during the course of company operation.

- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, etc.

Required Education and/or Experience:
- Knowledge of equal employment opportunity laws, ADA, and other government compliance regulations that affect job recruitment
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the Human Resource discipline as they pertain to Recruiting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with BTAS leadership and employees
- Self-starting ability
- High energy and ability to work on several projects simultaneously and methodically
- Must be organized, efficient, able to multi-task and work independently

Preferred Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources and/or 1-2 years of relevant experience
