We are looking for a passionate Recruiting Operations Specialist who can represent our brand, share our social mission with our applicants, and ensure that they are successful in the role. This role is a remote position, but you'll be on the front line, creating exciting experiences for our prospective instructors, day in and out. Your role will be a mix of recruiting and operations to get the best talent hired for Nucamp and ensure the entire instructor experience is sound. You will work closely with our Recruiting team to help drive and own key recruiting initiatives and projects and work with the Operations team around scheduling instructors and launching successful workshops. From the moment you read their resume to planning their first interviews, you'll be vital in finding ways to excite them to join! You will then put on your operational hat to focus on scheduling logistics and ensure their workshops are successful for both the instructors you bring on board and the students enrolled in the course.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc.
  • Perform video interviews with candidates
  • Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
  • Making recommendations, moving candidates to the next phase of the interview cycle
  • Assist in supporting new instructors with the onboarding process, answering questions, making sure each step is completed and they are fully prepared
  • Assist the team with supporting the Instructor Community by setting up coaching, feedback and ratings reviews and other operational tasks

Qualifications

  • Experience in human resources, marketing, communications, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience as a recruiter (technical experience with software developers or IT professionals is preferred)
  • Solid ability to conduct a variety of interviews
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated professionalism in written communication and confident in verbal communication
  • Familiarity of the software developer community
  • Entrepreneurial can-do mindset
  • Self-motivated and has experience working remotely
  • Can multi-task and manage different situations at one time
  • Can troubleshoot and figure out solutions and make decisions quickly

  • Technical background
  • Advanced knowledge of Zoom and Slack
  • Experience in web & mobile app development
